This article made me kinda know why I love Boston so much. Everything is labeled already. Walking the streets is an amble through a museum. It’s not a senseless suburb. It’s an on purpose, well labeled city.
I've used so much from your newsletter in my Creative Writing and Humanities classes. Thank you. And I can't wait to share with students the idea for creating museum labels. A critical part of what I try to instill is a sense of curiosity and active observation. This project is such a great way to exercise those muscles. And create some much needed interventions in our institutional spaces. Again, thank you.
I found the LA Times "Biff Furtz" reference in a string of tweets from Laura Nelson, a reporter there: https://twitter.com/laura_nelson/status/983407959920197632?s=20.

This is so freaking charming
Ahh....too many cool things to check out. :( I really liked the typeanote site!
Oh, so is there a standard way of putting up notes of museum art out in the wild? Curious. Thanks again!
