This was fun! Kids are so inquisitive and intrepid!!

My friend George, an art teacher, used to like tell the old story of a little girl drawing away like crazy in art class.

The teacher asked the girl what she was drawing. I am drawing a picture of God she replied. The teacher smiled and said " well, nobody really knows what God looks like." The little girl replied "they will when I finish my picture!"

Instead of a Dictionary of Missing Words kids have words with missing meanings!

Kids love to play with language. My Auntie corrected her grandson when he called spaghetti "pissghetti". She said "Honey, the word is spaghetti." He told her that he knew that, but he just liked saying pissghetti better.

I love the creativity, the imagination, and the fearlessness of kids!!

They live in the moment, they are endlessly fascinated by things adults have become oblivious to.

I think kids and animals are the best"Noticers"!!

Rob, I was talking to some folks from your neck of the woods this morning!

Their son goes to school here In MA. and they brought him some favorite seasoning for his roulle.

They taught me not to park on the "banket" (sidewalk) and about King Cakes!

They live about 40 minutes outside of NOLA and there is only ONE Dunkin Donuts in their area!!! Yeah, I was shocked too.

Thanks for the Newsletter!!!

My best to U and E.

Greetings! Just chillin at my town pier now, looking at the boats and listening to the seagulls and sipping on the nectar of the gods, my Dunkin Donuts coffee!

So getting to the point, yes, there is a point! I am pondering Austin's question "If a book can be summarized is it worth reading, is it worth writing?

I enjoy reading books that are of interest to me, that make me laugh, make me think, that teach me, that challenge me, that tell a good story, It makes zero difference to me, whether a book can be summarized or not. A good book is worth reading, simply because it is a good book.

I am not a writer, so I can only guess on that piece of the question, but isn't writing about curiosity, exploration and expression, and a way for the writer to learn, grow and share? To my way of thinking, that is of great value.
