I teach a somatic voice and movement class and in the first session when everyone introduces themselves I ask everyone to share something that "lights them up". It's always a lovely way to bring some delight and some levity into the first session which can, for some, be a bit scary/intimidating/unfamiliar.

Fun prompt! I think I'll use it at our next team meeting. I often use a five finger check-in---5 is the best, 1 is the worst--but I give them ridiculous designations like 5 = you've been given a kabillion dollars and want to buy us all treats.

Thanks for the NASA name in geography site. It's so fun!

love the prompt, but my first thought was - people are then going to ask me to explain what an adjective is (which I can do, but it might take the fun out of it). Eh, there are workarounds for that :)

I belong to a silent book club. We read our own book for an hour and sometimes discuss/try to sway others to read. We started doing a photo at the start of book club. So, naturally, I just had to bring Vagina Monologues for the photo opp. Wonder what other treasure titles my library might have for the next photo opp?!?
