Here is one answer, in the form of a unique collaboration with designer Tim Belonax:
Taking Aim At the Target, just published in Medium's design-focused Re:Form collection, scrutinizes the shooting-range target — looking at the work of a photographer who has documented these objects around the world, and turning for fresh insight to the man who shot his friend Chris Burden, for art.
The real payoff of the piece, however, is a brand new (critical) object that responds to the target-design idea: An original, limited-edition poster created by Belonax that Re:Form is giving away (while supplies last).
