Gotta ask. Plus delightful mail, the upside of zines, and The Heard
Hi all,
Hope your December is going well; bit of a scramble hear at TAoN as we (meaning I) prepare some fun stuff in the new year. And that’s a good thing! But meanwhile I want to share a few items of interest.
GOTTA ASK
My previously mentioned convo with Kenneth Woodard for his Curated Questions podcast is now up; I really enjoyed discussing the importance of questions, and, among other things, how journalism gave me (a terminally shy person) a framework for pursuing my curiosities — thus changing my life. IN THE MAIL
Kris Farren Moss, a writer and coach and TAoN reader, interviewed me for her book, just out, Your Guide To Ritual Design — all about finding routines that we can develop into meaningful personal rituals, explored in no-nonsense, welcoming language.
Maria, happy birthday and thanks for sharing this little treasure; consumed@robwalker.net if you want a comp. Vraptor your comp is set.
I love seeing your noticing-inspired projects! Case in point: Cindy, a Risograph technician, sent these wonderful “leaflets,” after collecting “awesome leaves” on various walks. Printed with sunflower, kelly green, and burgundy spot color ink. So so so cool IRL but I hope my pix give a hint. (Cindy email me for a comp consumed@robwalker.net, and thank you.)
