New guy hear, and like everyone else, I'm glad you and the family are ok. That audio clip, I imagine, is no substitute for hearing it "live" for so long.
A sound is worth a thousand images! That sound alone sums up the situation you've been through. I 'm happy to hear you are safe. Thanks for taking the time to write about your thoughts on your experience. Somehow we can all relate to it .
Glad to hear you are okay. This is close to an experience I recently had in Australia when a wild storm tore through our area uprooting hundreds of massive trees, destroying homes and left us and many others without power for 3 weeks in mid-winter. I became very sensitive to those who did and those who did not contact us to see if we were okay. These natural disasters do change your perspective on the environment and also our relationships with each other.
Happy to hear you are okay! I imagine it was very scary being in the middle of such a powerful storm and not knowing how it would play out. Wondering what your creative mind was noticing, and your imagination was cooking up while the storm was at its worst.
Checking In
Thanks for the "check in", Rob, and for this thoughtful post. Glad to know you are in a safe place.
Glad to know you and your loved ones are safe and sound. That audio recording is very interesting! Thank you for the checking in prompt.

I hadn't realised you were in NO - glad to hear you are OK. Thanks, too, for the prompt to check in with others.

Rob,
Happy to hear you are okay! I imagine it was very scary being in the middle of such a powerful storm and not knowing how it would play out. Wondering what your creative mind was noticing, and your imagination was cooking up while the storm was at its worst.
