Practical tips drawn from the recent Worst Convo with Café Anne. Plus the Heard

While the recent livestream interview with Anne Kadet was very warmly received, it’s been suggested that I should offer a text “takeaways” sort of post for those who aren’t really into video. (After all, both Anne and I prefer text. “I never watch videos of anything,” Anne announced early in our conversation. “I would never watch this video!”)
So here, for you video resistors (but also for those who enjoyed the full convo and wouldn’t mind a highlight list), is a cheat sheet!
I wanted to talk to Anne, who writes insightfully and hilariously about New York City in her Café Anne newsletter, about posts she’s done on “the worst” laundromat, bagels, and pizza joint in town. Specifically I wanted to ask: Why focus on the worst? Obviously, she had great answers.
